UGA Gains Verbal from GHSA 6-7A Champ Bradley Dunham of Dacula High School

Bradley Dunham commits to Georgia

Dacula High School senior Bradley Dunham made a commitment this week to the University of Georgia men’s swimming program, giving the Bulldogs their first recruit of the class 2018/2019 season.

Dunham, who trains locally at SwimAtlanta, was the state high school champion in the 500 freestyle last season with a time of 4 minutes, 26.78 seconds, and was seventh at state in the 200 free. He also was county runner-up in the 500 free and third at county in the 200 free.

“I’m so excited to announce my Verbal Commitment to the University of Georgia! I want to thank all my coaches, friends, and family who helped me get to this point today. I can’t wait to join and work with this awesome swim program! Go Dawgs!

On July 30th, Dunham was named outstanding boys swimmer at this summer’s Georgia Senior State Championships, where he was the meet’s high-point scorer. He had four second-place finishes (50 backstroke, 200 back, 400 freestyle, 1,500 free), a third-place finish (100 back) and a ninth-place finish (200 free).
