The owner of the Atlanta Braves announced Thursday that it is creating a new tracking stock for the team, reports the AJC.

The stock known as Liberty Braves Group will allow investors to buy and sell shares of the team. The stock will include the team and its new stadium and mixed-use development in Cobb County.
The stocks will be traded as separate securities to the rest of Liberty Media, the Braves’ owner.
