Daytime Pacing Continues on Interstate 85 in Gwinnett

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA — Traffic pacing along Interestate 85 will continue this week due to construction.

Crews are working on the extension ofI-85's Express lanes during daytime hours.

Law enforcement will be conducting traffic on I-85 southbound starting at Hamilton Mill Road in Buford and on I-85 northbound starting at Old Peachtree Road in Lawrenceville.

Traffic pacing is designed to enhance safety while Georgia Department of Transportation crews are blasting and doing other work in the area. Motorists should expect delays during daytime hours.
