HGTV Looking To Make Over Homes In Gwinnett

SUWANEE, GA — Ever dreamed of turning your current home into your dream home? If you live in (or possibly around?) Suwanee, the folks at HGTV just may be willing to help.

According to the city, the network is looking for three local homeowners with relatively specific desires for home improvement.

The post did not say which HGTV show is looking in the area.

The criteria the network is looking for are:

• A musician or artist pursuing his or her dream, either as a full-time job or just something they enjoy doing on the side. The chosen homeowner will receive a room makeover to convert one of the rooms of their home into a studio.
• A tech-savvy homeowner who has incorporated some type of tech or green features into their home. The selected homeowner for this will receive a variety of high-end, smart home upgrades.
• An adventure-loving family with young kids who like to try new things and learn together. The selected family will receive a kid’s play room or bonus room makeover.

According to the City of Suwanee, anyone interested should submit the following details to [email protected]:

• Name and address
• Phone number
• Current photos of your family
• Current photos of the room you’d like to turn into a studio
• Tech or smart features already in your home/bonus or play room
• Tell your story. What’s your musical or artistic passion and how are you pursuing it? What sort of tech or smart features have you already incorporated into your home and why? How do you and your family explore and adventure together?
