Medieval Times to Offer 'Junior Knight Training'

The program, for kids ages 5-12, is free with the price of their admission.

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA -- Medieval Times is giving young would-be knights a chance to step into the arena.

Junior Knight Training will be available on selected dates through Friday, July 29. The pre-show program is free to kids, ages 5-12, with the price of their admission.

The program takes place an hour prior to show time.

During the program, kids will get to join the Medieval Times knights for a behind-the-scenes look at the show. They'll witness swordplay skills first hand during a weapons demonstration and get to try their own hands at it with an interactive tutorial.

It ends with a "knighting ceremony" with King Carlos himself.

Closed-toe shoes are required for all participants. Space is limited to 80 children and training is available on a first come, first served basis. Families are encouraged to arrive early to claim a spot.

  • Tuesday, June 28: 6:30 p.m. (doors open at 6 p.m.)
  • Wednesday, June 29: 6:30 p.m. (doors open at 6 p.m.)
  • Thursday, June 30: 6:30 p.m. (doors open at 6 p.m.)
  • Thursday, July 7: 6:30 p.m. (doors open at 6 p.m.)
  • Friday, July 8: 7 p.m. (doors open at 6:30 p.m.)
  • Wednesday, July 20: 6:30 p.m. (doors open at 6 p.m.)
  • Wednesday, July 27: 6:30 p.m. (doors open at 6 p.m.)
  • Thursday, July 28: 6:30 p.m. (doors open at 6 p.m.)
  • Friday, July 29: 7 p.m. (doors open at 6:30 p.m.)
