Oktoberfest Celebration Coming To Lawrenceville

"Prost on Perry Street" is set for October 1 and sponsored by the city and a pair of local pubs.

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA β€” Hoist your oversize beer steins, Gwinnett County, and leave plenty of room for bratwurst. Lawrenceville will have its very own Oktoberfest celebration this year.

Dubbed "Prost on Perry Street," the event is set for noon-6 p.m. on Saturday, October 1.

The city announced plans for the gathering on its Facebook page.

It will be sponsored in conjunction with The Local Republic pub, McCray's Tavern and Spatenbrau beer.

"Downtown Lawrenceville will come alive with a variety of games, live music, and plenty of beer including our event sponsor Spaten Beer! You don't want to miss this celebration!!" the city wrote on its post.
