Storms, Rain To Move In Thursday After Dry, Warm Weds In IL

ILLINOIS — Dry weather is expected to continue on Wednesday, before rain moves into the area late Wednesday into Thursday, with possible severe weather on Thursday night, according to the National Weather Service.

Wednesday will have a high of 88, with "comfortable humidity," the weather service said.

Thursday will have a high of 83, with storms possible throughout the day.

Storms are possible during the day on Thursday, but no severe weather is expected. Scattered storms could redevelop Thursday evening, and there is a threat of severe weather during that time, the weather service said.

Rain will continue to be possible as the weekend begins, with chances on Friday and Saturday afternoons. Temperatures in the 80 will continue, with a high of 84 on Friday and a high of 81 on Saturday.
