Road Rage Rampage: Wanted Wisconsin Man Repeatedly Rammed Car, Cops Say
Police said they have identified the pickup truck driver who ran another driver off the road last month in Illinois as a Wisconsin man with an arrest warrant and a lengthy history of fleeing from police. Police say he struck the Infiniti several times before it was forced off the road and into the trees to the west side of the highway.
Off-Duty Deputy Involved In Fatal Shooting: Police
While the state's attorney declined to offer details, the sheriff said the off-duty deputy had encountered an armed robbery in progress while driving through the area. Upon witnessing one person attacking another and seeing the assailant had a gun, the deputy shot and killed the armed person, he said.

Man, 40, Found Guilty Of Sending Private Sexual Images Via Text
Police launched an investigation into Mitchell in August 2020. At that time, police learned Mitchell sent a "compromising photo to a mutual friend without the victim's consent," according to the news release.

A witness told officers that two people wearing masks set off fireworks in several containers around the football field, police said.

"Out of an abundance of caution the grounds were evacuated," police said Friday. A specialty unit was called in to confirm the package was harmless, and police also searched the grounds.
Police Explain How Missing Pastor Likely Died
Police outlined how they believe the area pastor's vehicle plunged into the water near the out-of-service bridge. Rev. Warren Beard, 53, was found in his submerged vehicle a week after he went missing.
