Homeless Man Nabbed For Home Burglary: Arlington Heights PD Blotter

The incident occurred in the 900 block of S. Evergreen Avenue, according to police.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The following information comes from the Arlington Heights Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. Criminal charges represent accusations by the state and are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Cook County Clerk of the Circuit Court.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS TO PROPERTY

  • Omar A. Abdelhamid, 29, of the 3500 block of Tamarind Drive, Northbrook, is accused of criminal trespass to property, and was arrested at 1:21 p.m. July 1, at 7-Eleven, 1418 E. Hintz Road. He was released and assigned a court date of Aug. 13.
  • Anca Barac, 40, of the 10400 block of Southwest Highway, Chicago Ridge, is accused of criminal trespass to property, and was arrested at 3:10 p.m. July 2, at Eddie McGann's Restaurant, 10 E. Northwest Highway. They were released and assigned a court date of Aug. 13.
  • Reuben I. Ramos, 40, of the 900 block of E. Golf Road, Arlington Heights, is accused of criminal trespass to property, obstructing identification, and was arrested at 2:10 a.m. July 3, in the 900 block of E. Golf Road. He was released and assigned a court date of Aug. 9.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

Jose A. Avalos, 30, homeless, is accused of residential burglary, and was arrested at 7:51 p.m. June 29, in the 900 block of S. Evergreen Avenue. A court date of July 26 was assigned.

RESISTING A PEACE OFFICER

Evan B. Dawood, 39, of the 2300 block of S. Goebbert Road, Arlington Heights, is accused of resisting a peace officer, and was arrested at 6:15 p.m. July 1, at E. Algonquin Road and Cedar Glen Drive. He was released and assigned a court date of Aug. 2.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

  • Sabina Dekorsi, of the 1300 block of W. Plymouth Court, Arlington Heights, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested at 12:28 a.m. July 4, on Arlington Heights Road and Olive Street. She was released and assigned a court date of Aug. 2.
  • John J. Homan, 32, of the 1400 block of E. Course Drive, Riverwoods, is accused of DUI of combined drugs and alcohol, illegal transportation of alcohol by a driver, and was arrested at 1:14 a.m. June 28, in the 600 block of E. Palatine Road. He was released and assigned a court date of July 26.

UNAUTHORIZED DELIVERY OF A FUGITIVE

John William Modler, of the 1500 block of W. Jackson Boulevard, Arlington Heights, had an out-of-state warrant for the unauthorized delivery of a fugitive, and was arrested at 4:03 p.m. July 1, at Red Roof Inn, 22 W. Algonquin Road.

OBSTRUCTING IDENTIFICATION

Tracy A. Morack, 45, of the 16600 block of Liberty Circle, Orland Park, is accused of obstructing identification, had two warrants for violation of bail bond, and was arrested at 6:09 p.m. July 3, at Arlington Heights and Higgins roads. She was released and assigned a court date of Aug. 2.
