Marge Earl Appointed to Downers Grove Village Council

Earl will fill the vacant spot left by the resignation of David Olsen.

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Marge Earl, who serves as chairperson on the Zoning Board of Appeals, has been appointed to fill the vacancy on the Downers Grove Village Council following David Olsen's resignation.
Earl will be sworn in Sept. 6, according to the village.

"I'm excited to continue serving the community in my new capacity as a Village Council Member," Earl said in a statement.

Earl has been a member of the Zoning Board of Appeals since 2007, she is on the Comprehensive Planning Ad-Hoc Committee and she has also served on the Ad-Hoc Housing Committee.

"I'm thrilled to announce the appointment of Marge Earl to the Village Council," said Mayor Martin Tully in a statement. "She has been a stalwart Board and Commission member which gives her great insights on the key issues facing our community."
