German shepherd mix can go to a home with children 8 and older.
HINSDALE, IL — The Hinsdale Humane Society is looking to adopt out one of its dogs. Says the society, "Hi, my name is Lavender and I would really like a human to come along soon and take me home. I am a 3½-year-old German shepherd mix and ready to give lots of love to my new family. I am spayed, weigh just 44 pounds and ready to go to a home with children age 8 and older.
During the coronavirus crisis, the society has modified its adoption process for maximum safety. Anyone interested in adopting any of its pets, fill out an online application at its website and then call 630-323-5630 for an interview.
