Ninth Street Rail Crossing Closed To Traffic

LOCKPORT, IL — The Ninth Street rail crossing west of State Street will be closed to all traffic starting at 9 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 2 until 12 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 3. According to police, crews will conduct maintenance on the crossing during the closure.

Motorists should allow for additional time if they need to travel on Ninth Street over the bridge and should follow the posted detour routes.
