LEMONT, IL — Navigating the numerous websites, pharmacies and county vaccination sites can be challenging, so the Lemont Public Library and a group of resident volunteers have teamed up to help Lemont residents find vaccine appointments.

Partnership and Programming Librarian Shannon Kazmierczak said the library was having people sent to them for assistance, including residents without internet access. Right now, the main priority for the group is older adults in Lemont.

Those who are looking for assistance with vaccine appointments can come into the library, email Kazmierczak at [email protected], or call the library at 630-257-6541, ext. 2.
