LHS Track And Field Athlete Earns Two State Medals

LEMONT, IL — Lemont High School track and field athlete Quinton Peterson earned two medals at the 2024 IHSA Class 3A Boys track and field state finals, according to the school.

Peterson finished second in the 110-meter hurdles and third in the 300-meter hurdles. The school said he also set personal bests in both events.

Peterson advanced to the state finals thanks to his performance at the IHSA Joliet Central Sectional. He won the 110-meter event, and was the runner-up in the 300-meter at the sectional competition, according to LHS.
