Meat-A-Thon Challenge Hosted By Heritage Corridor Business Alliance
Participants will visit 13 different stations, each with a different 2-ounce serving of meat.
LEMONT, IL — The Heritage Corridor Business Alliance will host its LHG Meat-A-Thon on Nov. 13 in downtown Lemont. If you'd like to participate, you will visit 13 different stations, each with a different 2-ounce serving of meat, the business alliance said.
Participants will receive a LHG Meat-A-Thon T-shirt and a racing bib as well, the alliance said. After the event, you'll also receive a finisher medal.
The event is $100, and you must be 18 or older on the day of the challenge to participate.

The alliance said the event is a fundraiser for HCBA, and a portion of the proceeds also goes back to the businesses taking part in the event.
The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Nov. 13; it is not a race, but a challenge, Executive Director Dan Mulka said.

Participating locations announced so far are:
- Barrel & Vine
- Big Ed's Shed, serving Texas Red Chili
- Heroes West, serving hamburger sliders
- Matt's Barbecue, serving pulled pork
- Mucha Salsa
- Wooden Paddle
