Anastasia the Musical: Auditions Announced

Natural Talent Productions (NTP) is proud to announce auditions for Anastasia: The Musical, with music by Stephen Flaherty, lyrics by Lynn Ahrens, and book by Terrence McNally. Auditions will occur April 20-25, 2024 with production occurring July 19-28, 2024 in Naperville, IL.

Anastasia will be produced and directed by Jacqueline Warner. The creative team will include music direction by Kayla Lollar, costuming by Tenleigh Wells, and choreography by Jacqueline Warner and Sam Porter. Jeff Sand serves as assistant producer & sound designer. NTP has been delivering professional quality theatre at community theatre prices since 2010 and are delighted to share this production with audiences.

NTP is seeking strong singers and actors who can dance, as well as a dance ensemble and featured ballet dancers. Two featured child roles (1 male; 1 female) and ensemble roles are also available. Lead roles may be double cast. The role of Anya will be double cast. NTP strives for inclusive casting and encourages actors of all ages, races, ethnicities, and gender identities to audition. Children must be age 8+ to audition.

Auditions will be held by appointment at Community Baptist Church, 28W444 Main St., Warrenville, as follows:

April 20 (Saturday) 1-6pm; April 21 (Sunday) 1-6pm (1-2pm Saturday/Sunday reserved for children); April 23 (Tuesday) 7-10pm. Walk-ins will be accommodated as time allows.

Callbacks by invitation only April 25 (Thursday); evening time TBD based on availability.

Rehearsals for the production will be held Sundays/Tuesdays/Thursdays in Warrenville beginning May 7, 2024. Times may vary & all cast members will not be required at every rehearsal.

Performances will be July 19-28, 2024 at Yellow Box Community Christian Church Auditorium in Naperville, IL. Please note: Performances are scheduled Friday evenings, Saturday matinees & evenings and Sunday matinees (8 performances total).
