Northbrook Native Featured in New Original Play “Seven Days at Sea”

Northbrook Native Millie Hurley will be featured in Light and Sound Productions“Seven Days at Sea” at The Edge Theater, May 19-June 5.

“Seven Days at Sea,” written by Martha Hansen and directed by Margaret Knapp, will run Thursdays through Saturdays at 7 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. Five older women’s lives intersect on a lesbian cruise ship. While on the cruise, the women confront truths about themselves and each other reflecting a journey through age, illness and renewed sexuality. This show is recommended for mature audiences.

Millie Hurley, a Northbrook native, who will be playing the role of Theresa in “Seven Days at Sea” went to High School at Glenbrook North. You may know her from "Dancing at Lughnasa" at the Raven Theatre in Chicago, where she received a Jeff Award for Best Supporting Actress.
