Northbrook Obituary: Kris Larson, 55

CHICAGO — Kris Eric Larson, 55, of Chicago, Illinois, passed away on April 25, 2024. He was born on March 22, 1969, in Chicago. He was the loving son of Don Larson (Theresa Hannah) and the late Barbara Larson; cherished brother of Jennifer Larson and dear nephew, cousin and friend to many.

Kris was a remarkable person with a heart of gold, biting wit and was loved by all who knew him. He made the most out of life, traveling the world and enjoying the finer things. Kris had a wealth of hobbies, including horology and auto racing; he was a gourmand enrolled in culinary school and also an avid sportsman. Kris was a graduate of Glenbrook North High School, Indiana University, and had his MBA from DePaul University.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. May 19, at Hanekamp Funeral Home, located at 1240 Waukegan Road, Glenview, IL 60025.
