The North Suburban YMCA is once again offering its popular winter break “School Days Out” camp featuring daily field trips, sports, crafts, and games for children in kindergarten to 5th grade. Camp is held from 8am – 6pm on December 20-23 and December 27-30 at the Y, located at 2705 Techny Road in Northbrook. The cost is $63 for Y members and $75 per child per day for non-members.

“School Days Out” camp is designed to give parents peace of mind that their child is entertained and well cared for in a safe, nurturing environment. Research shows that children benefit from academic and social programs outside of school, helping to improve grades and social skills, while building a connection to their community.

“Children can benefit greatly from staying involved, even on long school breaks. Our dedicated staff makes sure children are developing the values, skills, and relationships that lead to positive behavior, better health, and greater educational achievement,” said Kathy Fielding, CEO of the North Suburban YMCA.
