Village Of Northbrook: Overnight Work On Willow Road Begins Wednesday

The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) has been rehabilitating Willow Road from Landwehr Road to Waukegan Road since late April. The general scope of work for this project includes ADA pedestrian curb ramps, hot-mix asphalt surface course, pavement patching, combination concrete curb and gutter removal and replacement, drainage structure cleaning, placement of thermoplastic pavement markings and any collateral work necessary.

IDOT will be performing overnight work (7 p.m. to 7 a.m.) to limit traffic congestion and will include resurfacing the pavement on Willow Road. They are scheduled to start Wednesday, August 2, 2023, and the operation is expected to last eleven nights.

To perform the work, IDOT will be conducting lane closures on Willow Road. Affected lanes will be diverted. Work will be performed by IDOT contractors.
