'Virtuoso Violins' Concert Showcases Northbrook Symphony's Musicians

NORTHBROOK, IL — In a show that promises to showcase the "versatility and beauty" of the violin, a special concert is planned for Sunday at Northbrook's Sheely Center for the Performing Arts. "Virtuoso Violins" begins at 4 p.m. at 2300 Shermer Road.
Pieces to be performed at the show include:
- Antonio Vivaldi — "Concerto for 4 Violins in B minor"
- Maurice Ravel — "Tzigane"
- Camille Saint-Saëns — "Rondo Capriccioso"
- Pablo de Sarasate — "Navarro"
- Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart — "Symphony No. 39 in E-flat major, K. 543"
