Work On 304-Unit Luxury Apartment Residence Ends In Northbrook

NORTHBROOK, IL — McShane Construction Company has completed The Elaine, a new 304-unit luxury apartment residence in Northbrook. McShane, out of Rosemont, was selected by the Finger Companies to provide general construction services for the development, according to a release.

"The Elaine is truly a first-class residence," said Jeffrey A. Raday, president of McShane, in the release. "With high-end finishes, resort-style amenities and a premier location, it is an excellent choice for anyone who wants to reside in the northern Chicago suburbs."

Located at 1000 Skokie Blvd., the five-story residence features wood frame construction wrapped around a six-story, precast parking deck that accommodates 642 vehicles.

One- and two-bedroom floor plans are available and incorporate high-end finishes, including stainless steel appliances, wine refrigerators, full-size in-unit washers and dryers, quartz and granite countertops, laminate wood floors and solar roller shades.

Amenities within this luxury development include club rooms, a 24-hour fitness center, a business center, a conference room and a sizable leasing office, according to the release. Additionally, tenants have access to three elegant courtyards, two resort-style swimming pools, and outdoor kitchens. Furthermore, an interactive golf simulator allows golf enthusiasts to play famous courses from all over the world. For residents with pets, there is also an on-site dog run and pet grooming station.
