Northern Illinois Food Bank is pleased to announce it received a $50K grant from Bank of America’s Charitable Foundation. Funds will be used for general operating expenses that fuel the Food Bank’s mission to provide nutritious food and resources to neighbors, with dignity, equity and convenience, through partnerships and innovation.

To recognize the grantees, Bank of America hosted a Community Partner Networking Breakfast to thank their non-profit partners, including Northern Illinois Food Bank for the work being done in support of advancing economic mobility of individuals and families in Jobs and Health.

“We are grateful for Bank of America’s generous grant and longtime partnership since 2008. Food insecurity in Northern Illinois remains high and continues to rise. These contributions are vital to ensuring our neighbors have access to enough nutritious food so they can live happy and healthy lives,” said Maeven Sipes, Chief Philanthropy Officer at Northern Illinois Food Bank.
