Position: Maintenance Technician
Location: Carol Stream, IL
Tyndale House is seeking qualified candidates for this full-time (days) Maintenance Technician position on our Facilities Team. If you enjoy variety and are a hard worker, this is a position to consider!
In this position, you will work closely with our facility manager to keep our buildings and grounds in excellent condition. The primary areas of responsibility will be assisting with routine facility maintenance, lawn care, snow removal, and custodial duties. Equipment or room set-up and tear down is also a responsibility in this position. So, if you enjoy working outdoors (in all seasons) and can maintain high work standards, we would love to consider you for this position. Dependability, professionalism, a servant’s heart, and the ability to take direction are just a few of the attributes we will be seeking in qualified candidates.
Qualified candidates will possess a minimum of one-year related experience. An ability to remain flexible and calm under pressure and bring an aptitude to work with power tools, cleaning tools, and chemical supplies are also needed. Occasional heavy lifting is required in this position.
