Road Closures To Take Effect For March-A-Thon In Wheaton

WHEATON, IL — Road closures will be in effect Saturday morning while the Wheaton North High School Band holds its March-a-Thon.

The following road closures are set to be in effect at different intervals starting at 8:45 a.m.

  • Franklin from Main to Washington
  • Washington Street from Franklin to Seminary
  • Union Avenue from Washington to Wheaton
  • Main Street from Lincoln to Seminary
  • Hale Street from Union to Wesley
  • Karlskoga Avenue from Wheaton to Hale
  • Wheaton Avenue from Karlskoga to Oak
  • Oak Avenue from West Street to Wheaton Avenue
  • West Street from Prairie Avenue to Oak Avenue
  • Armbrust Avenue from Papworth Street to Darling Street

Each section of road will be closed for about a half-hour as the band marches through, but will reopen once the band has passed, according to an update from the city of Wheaton.
