Amazon Officials Visited HQ2 Finalist Indianapolis Last Month

New report says many details of the March visit remain hidden as negotiations continue among Amazon officials and finalist cities: Report

INDIANAPOLIS, IN -- As Indianapolis is one of the 20 cities that Amazon announced as finalists for their second North American headquarters location, Indianapolis Business Journal reports officials from Amazon.com Inc. visited the city late last month. IBJ says visit took place during the week of March 19 as part of the company's effort to choose a location that could eventually provide 50,000 jobs. According to the news report, local officials involved with the HQ2 bid have signed non-disclosure agreements that prohibit them from talking about negotiations.

In January the company said it reviewed 238 proposals from across the U.S., Canada and Mexico to host its second headquarters in North America.
