Indianapolis Residents Most Eager To Throw Money For Amazon HQ
Business Insider says survey found a shocking number of Americans, the most in Indianapolis, would approve tax increase for Amazon HQ spot.

INDIANAPOLIS, IN -- A new survey found that a surprising number of Americans would pay- more in taxes to get Amazon's second headquarters to their cities, with Indianapolis residents among the most eager, Business Insider reports. The news report says 26% percent of survey residents from Indianapolis said they would voluntarily take a tax increase to win company's second headquarters.
Amazon has promised the chosen city a $5 billion investment and up to 50,000 high-paying jobs where it builds the new headquarters.
Business Insider says Nashville, Miami, Dallas, and Raleigh, North Carolina also ranked highly, with more than one in five residents of each city saying they would pay a higher tax bill for Amazon. However, just 14% percent of residents in Denver, Austin and Washington, DC said they'd do the same, Business Insider reports.
