PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A 62-year-old Maryland lottery player's persistence has paid off in the form of a $50,000 prize from a bonus match 5 ticket. The Prince George's County resident regularly plays that particular game and a few years ago won $3,600.
The lucky man visited Clinton Crossing Exxon located at 8915 Woodyard Road in Clinton. He bought six boards for $4 for the Jan. 14 drawing, with two quick-pick selections and four lines using his lucky numbers. By matching the winning numbers 4, 11, 20, 37 and 39 with a line of his lucky numbers, the Clinton man won his largest lottery payday to date.
The Prince George’s County Exxon will receive a $500 bonus for its role in selling a top-prize winning lotto ticket.
