2 Liquor Stores Report Thefts Of Alcohol, Money: Howard County Police

Two liquor stores in Jessup and Elkridge reported the theft of alcohol and money within a 7-hour span, Howard County Police report.

On March 3 around 7:36 p.m., suspects broke the rear glass door of Howard Wine & Spirits, 7700 block of Hearthside Way, Elkridge. On March 4 around 2:18 a.m., police were called to Crestmount Wine & Spirits in the 7900 block of Washington Blvd., Jessup.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Police are searching for suspects they say entered two liquor stores in Elkridge and Jessup, and stole alcohol and money.

On March 3 around 7:36 p.m., suspects broke the rear glass door of Howard Wine & Spirits, 7700 block of Hearthside Way in Elkridge, and stole alcohol, according to a report from the Howard County Police.

On March 4 around 2:18 a.m., police were called to Crestmount Wine & Spirits in the 7900 block of Washington Blvd. in Jessup, for a report of a burglary in progress. One or more suspects had entered the business by prying open a rear door and stole the cash register tills. Police did find one suspect, 33-year-old Jamal Curtis-El of Baltimore, and have charged him with burglary, theft and destruction of property, according to Howard County Police.
