86-Year-Old Laurel Woman Fatally Hit By Vehicle In Grocery Store Parking Lot: Police
An 86-year-old woman was fatally hit by a vehicle in a grocery store parking lot, according to Laure Police.

LAUREL, MD — An 86-year-old Laurel woman has died after she was hit by a driver pulling into a parking spot at the Food Lion on Sandy Spring Road Jan. 30, police say.
The incident happened around 3:17 p.m. Laurel police officers were called to the Food Lion for a report of a pedestrian collision. Patricia Sheppard was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle police say hit Sheppard remained on the scene and provided a statement to Laurel Police. Anyone with additional information has been asked to contact the Laurel Police Department at 301-498-0092 or anonymous tips can also be sent to [email protected].
