ELLICOTT CITY, MD — Repairs are scheduled to be made starting Thursday to a portion of the curb along eastbound Little Patuxent Parkway in Columbia between 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. During this time, the rightmost eastbound lane of Little Patuxent Parkway between Vantage Point Road and Columbia Road will be closed to traffic. Signs have been posted and road cones are in place to direct motorists around the work zone.

Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed by mid-May. While the county and its transportation partners work hard to maintain safe traffic mobility in work zones, drivers are reminded to stay alert and look for reduced speed limits, narrow driving lanes and highway workers.
