Drainage System Project Underway In Columbia

The project in the Village of River Hill in Columbia is slated to be done by the end of September and shouldn't affect traffic.

COLUMBIA, MD — A construction project designed to improve drainage near 6728 Walter Scott Way in the Village of River Hill in Columbia has started and should be completed by late September.

Minor modifications will be made to the drainage system, including the installation of a trench drain and an outfall into the nearby stormwater management pond. Signs have been posted in the area to alert residents of the project. The project is not expected to impact the general flow of traffic.
