HOWARD COUNTY, MD — A sidewalk connection project along Snowden River Parkway in Columbia should start March 21 and wrap up by May. The project calls for the installation of approximately 1,360 linear feet of temporary asphalt sidewalk between 9325 Snowden River Parkway and Berger Road. ADA ramps, a crosswalk and a pedestrian signal will be installed along the east leg of the Snowden River Parkway/Berger Road intersection.

Signs will be posted in the area to direct traffic because the right lane of eastbound Snowden River Parkway will be closed at the site occasionally while work is being done weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
