Man Sentenced In Carjacking Of Woman's SUV At Howard County Gas Station: Prosecutor

A Howard County man has been sentenced in connection to the carjacking of a woman's SUV at a Royal Farms in Elkridge.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — A man has been sentenced in connection to a carjacking that happened in January at an Elkridge gas station.

Christopher Crider, Jr., 35, has been sentenced to 25 years suspend all but 12 years for his involvement in the carjacking of a woman's Toyota Highlander Jan. 20 at the Royal Farms located off Lark Brown Road in Elkridge, according to prosecutors.

In October, Crider was found guilty by a Howard County jury of carjacking, robbery, second-degree assault and several other related charges. After being released from prison, Crider also will be placed on five years of supervised probation, prosecutors announced.
