Sewer Main Replacement Project In Columbia Will Disrupt Traffic

Traffic will be rerouted along Cardinal Lane between Brass Knob and Quarterstaff Road in Columbia's Village of Hickory Ridge.

COLUMBIA, MD — A sewer main replacement project underway in Columbia will disrupt traffic along Cardinal Lane between Brass Knob and Quarterstaff Road. Signs will be posted and flagging operations will be in place to direct traffic during construction hours weekdays 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The deteriorating sewer main comprised of 670 linear feet of 8-inch cement located near 6445 Cardinal Lane in Village of Hickory Ridge will be replaced with PVC plastic sewer line. Weather permitting, the project should be completed by mid-November.
