3 Winning Lottery Tickets Sold In Anne Arundel Bring $60K To Victors

Three lottery players won a combined $60,000 in Anne Arundel County. The winning tickets were sold in Hanover, Edgewater and Annapolis.

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — Three lottery players won or claimed a combined $60,414 last week in Anne Arundel County.

Two participants won $25,000, tying them for the county's top prize.

The first victory came on a Pick 5 draw ticket bought in Hanover. That ticket was sold Friday at Wawa No. 8525, located at 37710 Milestone Parkway. This prize was unclaimed as of Tuesday.

The other $25,000 win followed Saturday in Edgewater. That Pick 5 ticket was sold at South River Liquors, situated at 3204 Solomon’s Island Road. This winner hasn't claimed their prize either.

The final player scored $10,414 in Annapolis while playing Racetrax, an animated horse racing game. They bought the ticket Saturday at the Broadneck Exxon, located at 317 Busch’s Frontage Road. This participant already picked up their winnings.

Around the state, 38 tickets worth at least $10,000 were sold or redeemed in the week ending May 29. The Maryland Lottery paid more than $30.1 million in prizes over those seven days.

Two players tied for the state's top prize of $1 million.

One was playing the Show Me $1,000,000! scratch-off in Mardela Springs. That winner claimed their prize last week.

The other bought a Mega Millions ticket in Rising sun on May 21 for the May 24 drawing. That victor has not yet claimed their prize. Lottery officials are still looking for the winner.
