EDGEWATER, MD β€” Good news: Taffy, a yellow Labrador retriever who was separated from her owner following a car accident on Monday, April 1, at Route 2 and Colony Crossing in Edgewater, has been found. A local business that offered a reward for whoever returns Taffy to her family says on Facebook that it helped get the pooch home.

Animal control officials say the driver had Taffy in the vehicle with her when the accident occurred. While Taffy's owner was getting medical care, a bystander tried to help with Taffy, but the dog apparently ran off in the area of West Estates toward the woods.

Integrity Construction Group offered a $200 reward to whoever finds Taffy and gets her home. "True to our word, we are heading to the Annapolis SPCA with our reward money (we were the ones who found her). We thank each and everyone of you who has shared our post in helping to get this sweet girl home!!!" the business posted on Facebook Wednesday morning.\\
