People Often Think We Are Sisters: Mother's Day Photos

Help us celebrate Mother's Day 2018 by sending in your mother-daughter lookalike photo.

EDGEWATER, MD β€” Whether it's through their personality, looks, hobbies or a combination of everything, daughters become a reflection of the woman who raised them. With Mother's Day 2018 right around the corner, we are celebrating that special bond by inviting Patch readers across Maryland to share their "mother-daughter lookalike" photos.

It doesn't matter how old the kids are, they'll always be your babies!

Tiffani Moore of Edgewater sent in a photo of herself and daughter in 2015, 2016 and 2017.

My family finds it amusing that we look so much like each other now because from birth until about 12 she looked exactly like her father. I was a young mom so people often think we are sisters but I always correct them because I am proud to be her Mother. This year we are celebrating her first Mother's Day since the birth of her son Riley and I am looking forward to sharing all of the knowledge, tips and tricks I have learned being her parent.

It's your turn, Patch readers β€” what traits do you and your mom share? Submit your lookalike photos by sending them to [email protected]. Be sure to include a nice message for your loved one, as well as the city/location of the photo and the date it was taken.
