Planet Fitness Elkton Completes $1.6 Million in Renovations

ELKTON, Md. (Oct. 12, 2021) – Planet Fitness – one of the nation’s largest and fastest-growing franchisors and operators of fitness centers with more members than any other fitness brand – recently completed nearly $1.6 million worth of renovations to its Elkton club located at153 Big Elk Mall, Elkton, MD 21921 which originally opened in 2011.

Following nearly four months of renovations this summer, the facility was expanded by 4,000 square feet of space. Now totaling 18,500 square feet, the club features an enhanced PF Black Card® Spa area, new strength equipment, a new PF360 modular training machine and TRX suspension training, updated locker rooms, new entrance way floor tile and a new front desk.
