ROCKVILLE, MD — A Rockville man won the $30,000 top-prize recently playing a Maryland Lottery scratch-off game.

The 55-year-old man visited Maryland Lottery headquarters in Baltimore to claim his prize, before heading back to work.

The Rockville resident told lottery officials that he was an avid scratch-off player. Previously, the man had won $50 to $100 prizes, but the $30,000 he won on a $3 Diamond Bingo was his personal best. He plans to save winnings.

For selling a $30,000 top-prize winning scratch-off, Dong Phuong Market at 8545 Piney Branch Road in Silver Spring will received a $300 bonus from the Maryland Lottery.
