Adoptable Pets Of The Week: Cocoa, Panda, Dymo, Cefor, Simba

ROCKVILLE, MD — For those looking to adopt a pet, a great place to look for your new family member is at Montgomery County's adoption center. The facility houses dozens of cats, dogs, and other adorable critters. And all of them need a furever home.

Here, we've rounded up a list of five adoptable pets for a series called "Patch's Adoptable Pets of the Week." This week, we're featuring Cocoa, Panda, Dymo, Cefor, and Simba.

COCOA

Name: Cocoa - ID#A469933
Sex, Breed: Spayed female, brown American Pit Bull Terrier mix.
Age: Approx. 1 year and 3 months old.
Arrived at Shelter: I am currently in a foster home. To learn more about me, please email my foster parent.

Shelter staff made the following comments about this animal: Cocoa is a very high-energy girl who would appreciate having a yard with a taller fence to run in! She has boundless puppy-like energy and zest for life and wants to play, play, play ALL DAY long! She is good at entertaining herself by throwing her toys around and bouncing in the air like a cirque du soleil performer (though not always gracefully :D ). She likes to be kept busy and would likely enjoy agility or learning scentwork or other doggy jobs.
