Adoptable Pets Of The Week: Leo, Pablo, Naggy, Gypsy, Roman

ROCKVILLE, MD — For those looking to adopt a pet, a great place to look for your new family member is at Montgomery County's adoption center. The facility houses dozens of cats, dogs, and other adorable critters. And all of them need a furever home.

Here, we've rounded up a list of five adoptable pets for a series called "Patch's Adoptable Pets of the Week." This week, we're featuring Leo, Naggy, Pablo, Gypsy, and Roman.

LEO

Name: Leo - ID#A468403
Sex, Breed: Neutered male, black American Pit Bull Terrier mix.
Age: Approx. 3 years old.
Arrived at Shelter: Oct. 1, 2020.

Shelter staff made the following comments about this animal: Leo is playful, friendly, spunky, and full of energy! He loves to play with toys, either by himself or with someone else. He is a complete LOVE and a total snuggle bug. Leo has everybody at MCASAC wrapped around his paw -- he's just so charming and adorable! He can't wait to hop up on the couch and place his paws and head in your lap on cold snowy days. Leo even gives forehead kisses and mask kisses! Leo can be jumpy and full of energy though he listens and will sit for a snack. There is no treat that Leo does not like!

PABLO

NAGGY

Name: *Naggy - ID#A473056
Sex, Breed: Spayed female, black and white American Staffordshire Terrier.
Age: Approx. 1 year and 1 month old.
Arrived at Shelter: Feb. 15, 2021.

Shelter staff made the following comments about this animal: Naggy is goofy, friendly, and very social! In fact, Naggy is so social that she spent 15 minutes desperately trying to get a fake stuffed dog to play with her! And she loves humans as much as she loves dogs!

Naggy can sit and lay down on command and loves to ask humans for pets and love. Though she is high energy, we believe she could live well with other dogs and children (so long as both parties are okay with being zoomied around and played with!) At 1-year-old she is still very young and excited, but is already learning great leash manners.

Naggy came to us as a stray and when we found her owner, she decided she didn't want her back. We just can't figure out why! Naggy is the life of the party, sweet as can be, and would make any house a true home.
