On The Road

As of 7:27 a.m., all lanes were blocked in both directions on US-40 west of MD-66/Mapleville Road, according to WTOP Traffic. [Beaver Creek, MD]

As of 7:04 a.m., police were investigating a stabbing that occurred at 6:41 a.m., in the 5000 block of Jay Street, Northeast, according to the Metropolitan Police Department. [Washington, DC]

As of 6:55 a.m., two southbound-left traffic lanes and the left shoulder of I-95 South prior to the exit for MD-43/White Marsh Boulevard are closed due to a crash involving two vehicles, according to MDOT. [White Marsh, MD]

As of 6:55 a.m., a crash was blocking the left lane of southbound Georgia Avenue, Northwest at New Hampshire Avenue, Northwest, according to WTOP Traffic. [Park View, DC]

As of 6:51 a.m., the left shoulder of the Outer Loop of the Capital Beltway/I-95 from Forestville Road to MD-4 is closed, according to MDOT. [Morningside, MD]

As of 6:13 a.m., a crash involving a motorcycle was reported on northbound MD-4 after MD-258/Bay Front Road, according to MDOT. [Bristol, MD]

As of 6:04 a.m., a crash investigation was underway on northbound Baltimore-Washington Parkway, according to WTOP Traffic. All lanes were blocked and traffic was being diverted to MD-32. [Annapolis Junction, MD]

As of 5:17 a.m., both northbound shoulders and traffic lanes on MD-295 North prior to MD-175 were closed due to a collision, according to MDOT. [Jessup, MD]

Ongoing Closures:

Both southbound shoulder of I-395 from Conway Street to Fort McHenry are closed, according to MDOT. [Baltimore, MD]

The northbound shoulder and two right traffic lanes of MD-173 North between Cabot Drive and Marley Neck Boulevard are closed due to utility work, according to MDOT. [Fort Armistead, MD]

Westbound-right off-ramp from MD-725 West at John Rogers Boulevard is closed due to roadwork, according to MDOT. [Upper Marlboro, MD]

The northbound-left shoulder of I-95 North is closed from Weigh Station Access Road to Cherry Hill Road, according to MDOT. [Adelphi, MD]

Eastbound shoulder, traffic lane and center turn lane of MD-648 East between Kuethe Road and Governor Ritchie Highway are closed due to a utility problem, according to MDOT. [Glen Burnie, MD]

Both northbound shoulders and traffic lanes of MD-150 North between Sparrows Point Boulevard and Wharf Road are closed, according to MDOT. [Sparrows Point, MD]

Mass Transit

Due to driver shortage, Commuter Bus trip Trip# - 7 on Route 715 will not operate on Thursday, according to MDOT. This will also affect Route 705. [Waldorf, MD/Washington, DC]

DC Weather

Partly cloudy skies were reported over the Baltimore-Washington region Wednesday morning, according to the National Weather Service. Expect it to be mostly cloudy during the day switching over to scattered showers in the evening. The high is expected to be 66 and the low 54.

The temperature in Rockville was 43 degrees around 7:30 a.m., under mostly cloudy skies, according to the AccuWeather forecast.
