Chevy Chase Author Hatches New Children's Book

The family-friendly event for 'Peep and Egg: I'm Not Hatching' will be held on March 12 at the Audubon Naturalist Society.

Chevy Chase author Laura Gehl’s newest book, Peep and Egg: I’m Not Hatching. will take flight at The Audubon Naturalist Society Woodend Nature Sanctuary on March 12.

The book is the first installment in the local neuroscientist and mother of four’s new children’s series featuring the eternally optimistic Peep and shyly hesitant Egg.

Gehl developed the resistant Egg, and her delay tactics, with an eye toward helping children overcome the fears at the root of stubborn behavior.
