On The Road

As of 7:04 a.m., the northbound-right shoulder of US-15 North at the exit for MD-26/Liberty Road was closed due to police activity, according to MDOT. [Applegate, MD]

As of 7:02 a.m., a crash was reported on the Inner Loop of the Capital Beltway/I-495 at MD-5/Branch Avenue, according to WTOP Traffic. [Camp Springs, MD]

As of 6:56 a.m., the northbound-right shoulder and right traffic lane of I-95 North prior to the exit for MD-24/Vietnam Veterans Memorial Highway were closed due to a collision, according to MDOT. [Abington, MD]

As of 6:55 a.m., a crash was affecting traffic in both directions on MD-4 near US-301, according to WTOP Traffic. [Upper Marlboro, MD]

As of 6:50 a.m., a crash was reported on the southbound ramp of I-95 to the Inner Loop of the Capital Beltway/I-495, according to WTOP Traffic. [Hillandale, MD]

As of 6:48 a.m., the southbound-right deceleration lane, right traffic Lane, and one of shoulders of US 15 South at the exit for southbound Opossumtown Pike were closed due to a collision, according to MDOT. [Applegate, MD]

As of 6:43 a.m., the southbound-left traffic lane, left shoulder, northbound-left shoulder, and left traffic lane of MD-301 North/South from River Road to Pfalzgroff Road were closed, according to MDOT. [Millington, MD]

As of 6:43 a.m., the northbound-right shoulder of MD-187 from Wisconsin Avenue to Woodmont Avenue was closed, accordng to MDOT. [Lone Oak, MD]

As of 6:43 a.m., the left shoulder of the Outer Loop of the Capital Beltway/I-95 was closed from Forestville Road to MD-4, according to MDOT. [Morningside, MD]

As of 6:32 a.m., a crash was reported the through lanes of the Inner Loop of the Capital Beltway/I-495, according to WTOP Traffic. [Oxon Hill, MD]

As of 6:06 a.m., a robbery investigation was underway in the 1500 block of Independence Avenue, Southeast, according to the Metropolitan Police Department. [Washington, DC]

As of 11:42 p.m., wind warnings were in effect in both directions of US-50 on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, according to WTOP Traffic. High profile vehicles are advised to exercise caution. [Chesapeake Bay Bridge, MD]

Both southbound shoulder of I-395 from Conway Street to Fort McHenry are closed, according to MDOT. [Baltimore, MD]

The northbound shoulder and two right traffic lanes of MD-173 North between Cabot Drive and Marley Neck Boulevard are closed due to utility work, according to MDOT. [Fort Armistead, MD]

Westbound-right off-ramp from MD-725 West at John Rogers Boulevard is closed due to roadwork, according to MDOT. [Upper Marlboro, MD]

The northbound-left shoulder of I-95 North is closed from Weigh Station Access Road to Cherry Hill Road, according to MDOT. [Adelphi, MD]

Eastbound shoulder, traffic lane and center turn lane of MD-648 East between Kuethe Road and Governor Ritchie Highway are closed due to a utility problem, according to MDOT. [Glen Burnie, MD]

Both northbound shoulders and traffic lanes of MD-150 North between Sparrows Point Boulevard and Wharf Road are closed, according to MDOT. [Sparrows Point, MD]

Mass Transit

Due to mechanical issues, buses on the following MetroBus routes may experience delays on Wednesday in both directions, according to Metro: 2B, B2, F14, and REX. [Washington, DC]

Due to bus operator availability, some of the following MetroBus trips may experience delays on Wednesday, according to Metro: H4 and K6. [Washington, DC]

DC Weather

Skies over the Baltimore-Washington region early Wednesday morning were sunny and clear, according to the National Weather Service. Sunny weather is expected to continue though the day with clouds increasing in the evening.

Sunny skies extended over the Rockville, Maryland area on Wednesday, with a temperature of 37 degrees, according to the AccuWeather forecast. The temperature is expected to reach 60 degrees, with a low of 42.
