Eerkins Uyghur Cuisine Fire: No Injuries, Fire And Rescue Says

ROCKVILLE, MD — No one was injured during a kitchen fire at Eerkins Uyghur Cuisine in Rockville, said Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Spokesman Pete Piringer on Twitter.

The fire started Sunday morning and was put out by 10:25 a.m.

Piringer did not say what the suspected cause of the fire was, or if there was any lasting damage. The building inspector and health department were called to inspect the building, he said on Twitter.

Eerkins Uyghur Cuisine is on the 1700 block of the Rockville Pike.
