As of 7:34 a.m., a crash on New York Avenue is affecting traffic in both directions at North Capitol Street, according to WTOP Traffic. [Truxton Circle, DC]

As of 7:31 a.m., a crash was reported in the roadway on US-50 West at the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, according to MDOT. [Chesapeake Bay Bridge, MD]

As of 7:19 a.m., a shooting investigation was underway in the 1800 block of Fenwick Street, Northeast in the Ivy City area, according to the Metropolitan Police Department. [Washington, DC]

As of 7:13 a.m., debris was reported in the roadway on the Inner Loop of the Capital Beltway/I-95 at the exit for US-50/John Hanson Highway, according to MDOT. [Westgate, MD]

As of 7:12 a.m., the right shoulder of southbound I-395/Southwest Freeway near Potomac Park/US Park Police is closed due to a crash, according to WTOP Traffic. [Washington, DC]

As of 7:04 a.m., the northbound-right shoulder and right traffic lane of I-95 North past the exit for MD-43/White Marsh Boulevard are closed, according to MDOT. [White Marsh, MD]

As of 6:59 a.m., the westbound-right shoulder of MD-140 West is closed between Reese and Old Baltimore roads, according to MDOT. [Carrolltown, MD]

As of 6:59 a.m., the westbound-shoulder MD-108 West is closed between Middle Patuxent Court and Sheppard Lane, according to MDOT. [Clarksville, MD]

As of 6:59 a.m., both southbound-traffic lanes and the southbound shoulder of MD 70 South between Calvert Street and College Avenue are closed, according to MDOT. [Annapolis, MD]

As of 6:59 .m., the left shoulder on the Outer Loop of the Capital Beltway/I-95 from Forestville Road to MD-4 is closed, according to MDOT. [Morningside, MD]

As of 6:59 a.m., the westbound-let traffic lane and shoulder of US-50 West are closed from Ocean Gateway to Rhodesdale Vienna Road, according to MDOT. [Vienna, MD]

As of 6:49 a.m., a single lane is getting by on northbound MD-650/New Hampshire Avenue near Metzerott Road due to a crash, according to WTOP Traffic. [Adelphi, MD]

As of 6:48 a.m., the right lane is blocked on eastbound Michigan Avenue, Northeast near 4th Street, Northeast due to a crash, according to WTOP Traffic. [Washington, DC]

Both southbound shoulder of I-395 from Conway Street to Fort McHenry are closed, according to MDOT. [Baltimore, MD]

The northbound shoulder and two right traffic lanes of MD-173 North between Cabot Drive and Marley Neck Boulevard are closed due to utility work, according to MDOT. [Fort Armistead, MD]

Westbound-right off-ramp from MD-725 West at John Rogers Boulevard is closed due to roadwork, according to MDOT. [Upper Marlboro, MD]

The northbound-left shoulder of I-95 North is closed from Weigh Station Access Road to Cherry Hill Road, according to MDOT. [Adelphi, MD]

Eastbound shoulder, traffic lane and center turn lane of MD-648 East between Kuethe Road and Governor Ritchie Highway are closed due to a utility problem, according to MDOT. [Glen Burnie, MD]

Both northbound shoulders and traffic lanes of MD-150 North between Sparrows Point Boulevard and Wharf Road are closed, according to MDOT. [Sparrows Point, MD]

Mass Transit

MARC Brunswick Line Train 890 is experiencing a 25-35 minute delay on Friday morning due to prior CSX freight train interference, according to MDA. [Frederick, MD]

Due to bus operator availability, the following Metrobus trips may experience delays on Friday morning, according to Metro: 1B, 21C, C4, U5, V4, X9, and Z7. [Washington, DC]

DC Weather

Patchy fog will be followed by mostly sunny skies across the Baltimore -Washington region on Friday, with a high of 72 and a low of 59 in the evening, according to the National Weather Service.

Skies around 7:45 a.m., in the Rockville area were mostly cloudy and the temperature was 49 degrees, according to the AccuWeather forecast.
