Homesense Opening In Rockville's Montrose Crossing Shopping Center

Homesense, a store in the HomeGoods family, will open on Rockville Pike this summer, the company announced.

ROCKVILLE, MD — A new store from the HomeGoods family is opening in Rockville's Montrose Crossing Shopping Center this summer.

Homesense will open at 12013 Rockville Pike on June 16, selling products and decor for the home.

"Homesense carries a wide array of furniture, a rug emporium, an extensive lighting department that includes hanging chandeliers, and a 'general store' featuring everything from hardware to storage needs," the company said in a news release. "Customers will also be able to shop for seasonal items, including outdoor furniture, garden, entertaining essentials, and holiday décor, all at prices generally 20%-60% below full-price retailers’ (including department, specialty, and major online retailers) regular prices on comparable merchandise."

Homesense is the newest addition to the TJX family, which includes T.J. Maxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods and Sierra stores. There are now 35 Homesense stories nationwide.

Homesense will receive new product deliveries every week, the news release said.

The Homesense in Rockville will be open Monday through Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., though the hours may shift, the release says. It will open at 8 a.m. June 16 for its grand opening.
