As of 6:51 a.m., the left lane of southbound Baltimore-Washington Pkwy after MD-197 is blocked due to a crash, according to WTOP Traffic. [South Laurel, MD]

As of 6:50 a.m., the left shoulder on the Outer Loop of the Capital Beltway/I-95 from Forestville Road to MD-4 is closed, according to MDOT. [Morningside, MD]

As of 6:50 a.m., the southbound-right tunnel lane on I-895 South is closed due to a disabled vehicle in the roadway, according to MDOT. [Baltimore Harbor Tunnel]

As of 6:47 a.m., a crash involving a single vehicle was reported on the Outer Loop of the Capital Beltway/I-495 at the exit for US-29/Colesville Road, according to MDOT. [Silver Spring, MD]

As of 6:38 a.m., both southbound-traffic lanes and shoulder on MD-70 South between Calvert Street and College Avenue are closed, according to MDOT. [Annapolis, MD]

As of 6:38 a.m., the westbound shoulder of MD-108 West between Middle Patuxent Court and Sheppard Lane is closed, according to MDOT. [Clarksville, MD]

As of 6:38 a.m., the northbound-shoulder and traffic lane of MD 223 North between Rosaryville Road and Sherwood Drive are closed, according to MDOT. [Rosaryville, MD]

As of 6:33 a.m., the northbound-right shoulder and right traffic lane on I-95 North past the exit for MD-43/White Marsh Boulevard are closed, according to MDOT. [White Marsh, MD]

As of 6:27 a.m., the southbound-traffic lane and shoulder, as well as the northbound-shoulder and traffic lane of MD-27 North/South at North Main Street are closed, according to MDOT. [Mount Airy, MD]

As of 9:55 p.m., on Thursday, all westbound-traffic lanes and both shoulders of US-1 West at I-195 are closed due to a utility problem, according to MDOT. [Patapsco, MD]

As of 9:09 a.m., on Thursday, the southbound-left traffic lane, right traffic lane and shoulder, as well as the northbound-left traffic lane on MD-97 South are closed at Dawson Avenue to due a utility problem, according to MDOT. [Wheaton, MD]

Ongoing Closures:

Both southbound-traffic lanes on US-1/Alternate South at Selma Avenue are closed due to a utility problem, according to MDOT. [Halethorpe, MD]

Both southbound shoulder of I-395 from Conway Street to Fort McHenry are closed, according to MDOT. [Baltimore, MD]

The northbound shoulder and two right traffic lanes of MD-173 North between Cabot Drive and Marley Neck Boulevard are closed due to utility work, according to MDOT. [Fort Armistead, MD]

Westbound-right off-ramp from MD-725 West at John Rogers Boulevard is closed due to roadwork, according to MDOT. [Upper Marlboro, MD]

Mass Transit

As of 4:39 a.m., due to a CSX freight train striking a passenger vehicle between St Denis and Dorsey Stations, service on the Camden Line has been suspended until further notice, according to MTA. The following MARC Camden Line Trains have been canceled for Friday morning: 842, 841, 843, 845, 844, 847, and 849. [Washington, DC]

Due to police activity, westbound buses on Metrobus Route 96 are being detoured onto New Jersey Avenue, Northwest at N Street and resuming their regular rout on Florida Avenue, Northwest at 9th Street, according to Metro. Eastbound buses are being detoured on Florida Avenue, Northwest and resuming their route on Massachusetts Avenue, Northwest at North Capitol Street. [Washington, DC]

Due to police activity, westbound buses on Metrobus Route G2 are being detoured on Rhode Island Avenue, Northeast at 4th Street and resuming regular route on P Street, Northwest at 7th Street, according to Metro. [Washington, DC]

Due to bus operator availability, some L2 Metrobus trips may experience delays on Friday, according to Metro. [Washington, DC]

Due to police activity, southbound buses on Route W4 are being detoured on Division Avenue, Northeast at Nanny Helen Burroughs Avenue and resuming their route on Division Ave, Northeast at Blaine Street, according to Metro. The skies over the Baltimore-Washington region were dotted with a few clouds around 7:15 a.m., according to the National Weather Service. The high on Friday will be 65 and the low 36, under sunny skies.

As of 7:15 a.m., the temperature in Rockville was 36 degrees under clear skies, according to the AccuWeather forecast. Expect plenty of sun on Friday.
