Pass on Love, Continue Warmth

CCACC Membership Join & Renewal Start at 8/1/2023

Dear CCACC Members and Friends,

Time flies, and CCACC sincerely appreciates your continuous support and companionship throughout the years. As of August 1st, we are officially commencing the membership renewal for the year 2023. We cordially invite you to choose CCACC once again to support our center. Moreover, we extend a warm invitation to new members to join our CCACC family, as we work together to create a center and community that embodies love, integrity, and harmony.

Being one of the few non-profit community organizations in the Greater Washington D.C. area operated by the Chinese community, CCACC has always upheld the spirit of volunteerism to expand our services comprehensively, striving to enhance the quality of our offerings. Over the past 40 years, our diverse range of services has benefited individuals of all ages, from the very young to the elderly.

Starting from July this year, CCACC's Senior Advisor, Mr. Ned Li, together with Board Member, Mr. Yuchi Huang and Deputy Executive Director, Ms. Li-Fang C.Liu, have devoted their efforts to meticulously revise the letters and forms sent to our members. To ensure ease of reading, both the letters and forms are provided in both Chinese and English versions. We have sought perfection in every detail, with the letters reflecting CCACC's genuine sincerity and high expectations towards our esteemed members. We would like to express our special thanks to the volunteer members who dedicated their time to categorize and fold the envelopes. Since receiving the notice from Evergreen Club President, Ms. Jia Liu, these wonderful volunteers eagerly signed up, all eager to contribute to CCACC. Gathering at the library on the second floor of the center, they organized their tasks efficiently and worked seamlessly. Each person had their designated role, diligently pasting address labels and stamps. The volunteers in charge of sorting and folding letters were quick and agile, forming groups of three or two to neatly fold and place the letters into the envelopes. With a joyful atmosphere, they efficiently completed over 900 membership letters, showcasing the cohesiveness and action-oriented spirit of CCACC's volunteer members.

Each heartfelt letter carries warmth and is delivered to every loving volunteer. We fold this sincere affection into each envelope, allowing every member to feel the love and warmth that embodies the essence of CCACC!
